History of Measurement

Ms. Hamrani directed all of her students in the path of a new project: The History of Measurement. Throughout my research on this project, I have learned many interesting things.
Such as the Egyptians being the first to record measurements and the Greek's using the human body, specifically a human foot as measurements. I now know where the term "foot", originated from. : ) Well below is my engineer's sketch (notebook), conclusion questions and powerpoint of the project.

Product Evolution: IPods

All of our peers were thinking of analyzing the history/product evolution of cell phones, watches, tvs, etc. However, Saliyah, Nathalia, and I decided to project on the evolution of IPods. IPods are majorly used today and have been updated numerous times ever since its creation. You can now store thousands of songs on your IPod, and its also touch screen. Its doesn't get any better than that. : )

Innovating a Plastic Cup By: Ishaq Shah, Leslie Vintimilla

My partner (Leslie) and I (Ishaq), decided to innovate a plastic cup by implanting a new and unique design on the cup. The design Leslie and I as a team came up with was to draw Plankton, from the series of "Spongebob Square Pants", and idolize him as a successor. We drew him with a crabby patty and implemented a evil laugh of victory on his face. This would mean that he finally succeeded in stealing a crabby patty. We also drew Mr. Krabs in the background along with the Krusty Krab, isolated in depression. We also added a unique style of drinking from the cup. All in all, this completely new, innovated cup, would crab the attention of many consumers, kids and adults alike, and become a quick success.
