Puzzle Cube

In this project, we were instructed to create our own cube (3 by 3) out of wooden blocks. After the cube was made we had to create our own packaging that we could place our cubes in. Below are pictures of the steps involved in completing this project. : )




Objective:

The objective was to brainstorm and sketch possible solutions to an existing design problem, select an approach that meets or satisfies the constraints given in a design brief, and create simple extravagant solid Computer Aided Design (CAD) models from dimensional sketches.

Define The Problem: The picture above includes the problem and objective; needed to complete this project.

Brainstorm: This picture above shows me brainstorming.

Research and Generate Ideas: I had to use these cubes to create a 3by3 solution to this project. The proccess was kind of difficult because everytime I tryed my combinations it didnt work. So I had to make many ombinations to make it finally work.



Identify Criteria And Constraints: This pictures shows the criteria and constraints.



Explore Possibilities/Select An Approach: After finding many combinations I finally put these five together to creat my 3by3 cube.

Model/Prototype: FINALLY, i created my prototype.

Create/Make Product: After putting the protoype together we were instructed to make our own packaging and place the cube in it. This picture shows the packaging and the cube is placed in it.
